Castle Rock, Colorado

Fractional COO for Castle Rock business owners

We improve businesses. So your Castle Rock business can run without you.

What we do for Castle Rock business owners

  • Operating Partner. A senior operator who runs the day to day with you, a few days a week, until the business runs on a steady rhythm.
  • Turnaround. For owners whose cash, margin or sales are sliding. We find out what is really happening, stop the bleeding, and put a weekly rhythm in place.
  • Succession Operating Partner. For owners getting ready to sell, hand off, or step back. We get the business to the point where it can run without you.
  • Selling to Your Employees. Thinking about selling to your team through an ESOP, an employee ownership trust or a co-op? We get the business ready to run without you, and work alongside your attorney and valuation firm.
  • The 30-Day Test. A free scorecard that shows how much your business depends on you.

How we work

The Brandimarte Charter

Five plain steps, the same on every job.

  1. Step 1: ScoreYou take the free 30-Day Test. It shows how much the business depends on you.
  2. Step 2: FitA short paid review of how the business runs today, to choose the plan and the weekly rhythm that fit your team and your stage.
  3. Step 3: InstallWe put the plan in place in 90-day builds, with clear owners for every number.
  4. Step 4: RunWe run it each week with your team until a number two owns the seat. If you need one, we help find and place that person.
  5. Step 5: Hand off or holdYou choose: hand it off, keep us running and growing it, or get it ready to sell.

Why we know Douglas County

We know Douglas County because we worked it. Most of Build a Bath's business came from Littleton, Highlands Ranch and Castle Rock. We sat right off Santa Fe and C-470, so we could get to almost any home in about 15 minutes outside rush hour.

I worked the home shows myself, and talking with homeowners face to face taught me something the reports didn't. Douglas County customers weren't shopping for the cheapest bathroom or the fastest one. They wanted a room they could show off, with heated floors, steam showers and real quality. So we stopped trying to sell to everyone. We aimed our marketing at those homeowners, used data to find them, and built the business around what they valued.

That's what I bring to owners here. Growth usually starts with knowing exactly who your best customers are and building everything around them.

Running a business in Castle Rock

Castle Rock has grown faster than any other city we serve. The Census Bureau counted 73,158 people in town in 2020 and estimates 83,815 in 2025, an increase of about 15 percent in five years.

More is on the way. Dawson Trails, on the west side of I-25, covers more than 2,200 acres, with 5,850 homes and about 3.2 million square feet of commercial, office, restaurant and industrial space approved. Across Douglas County, building permits authorized 2,398 new housing units in 2025. For builders, remodelers, landscapers and HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops, that is a lot of work. It is also a lot of pressure on an owner who is still the one quoting jobs, scheduling crews and answering the phone at night.

Castle Rock has good help for growing companies. The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce and the Castle Rock Economic Development Council, a nonprofit that works with firms expanding in town alongside the Town of Castle Rock and the Castle Rock Downtown Alliance, are both active here. The Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center serves Arapahoe and Douglas counties with no-cost advising.

Those groups help you start and grow. We come in when the business has grown past what one person can carry, and we stay until it runs on a steady weekly rhythm with someone other than you in the day-to-day seat.
