Fractional COO for Denver business owners
We improve businesses. So your Denver business can run without you.
What we do for Denver business owners
- Operating Partner. A senior operator who runs the day to day with you, a few days a week, until the business runs on a steady rhythm.
- Turnaround. For owners whose cash, margin or sales are sliding. We find out what is really happening, stop the bleeding, and put a weekly rhythm in place.
- Succession Operating Partner. For owners getting ready to sell, hand off, or step back. We get the business to the point where it can run without you.
- Selling to Your Employees. Thinking about selling to your team through an ESOP, an employee ownership trust or a co-op? We get the business ready to run without you, and work alongside your attorney and valuation firm.
- The 30-Day Test. A free scorecard that shows how much your business depends on you.

How we work
The Brandimarte Charter
Five plain steps, the same on every job.
- Step 1: ScoreYou take the free 30-Day Test. It shows how much the business depends on you.
- Step 2: FitA short paid review of how the business runs today, to choose the plan and the weekly rhythm that fit your team and your stage.
- Step 3: InstallWe put the plan in place in 90-day builds, with clear owners for every number.
- Step 4: RunWe run it each week with your team until a number two owns the seat. If you need one, we help find and place that person.
- Step 5: Hand off or holdYou choose: hand it off, keep us running and growing it, or get it ready to sell.
Running a business in Denver
Denver is the biggest business market of any city we serve. The city had 715,522 residents at the 2020 Census and an estimated 740,613 in 2025. In 2023 the City and County of Denver had 27,422 businesses with employees, plus 86,399 businesses with no employees at all.
The building has not stopped. Permits authorized 4,727 new housing units in Denver in 2025, the most of any county we serve. That keeps contractors, specialty trades, facility services and home service companies busy, and it keeps many owners working in the business instead of on it.
Denver also pays attention to companies that have been around a while. The city's Legacy Business Program recognizes independent, locally owned businesses that have operated for at least 10 years from a public location and bring in between $30,000 and $15 million a year. It offers recognition, marketing, training and referrals rather than grants. If your company has been part of a Denver neighborhood for a decade or more, it may be worth applying.
Other help in town includes the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, free one-on-one advising from Denver Economic Development & Opportunity, and the Denver Small Business Development Center, hosted by Red Rocks Community College with a satellite office on Arapahoe Street downtown.
